Print Production Guide
Broken Yet Pleasing is a guidebook to print production. The design is based on the ambivalence of something that feels broken and feeling at ease. Each decision from the typefaces, color palette, grid structure, and overall composition adheres to both aspects of the ambivalence. The overall design concept is based on the subtle glitches that occur in applications such as Indesign and Illustrator. As a result, the aesthetic is a minimal yet dynamic one with reoccurring biomorphic shapes to represent the glitching shapes in a softer nature.
